Department for Education

SIAMS

SIAMS is the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools. This inspection judges the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the school as a Church of England school and aims to help schools improve as church schools. The inspection looks at how well the school, through its distinctive Christian character, meets the needs of all learners, the impact of collective worship on the school community, the effectiveness of is the religious education and the effectiveness of the leadership and management of the school as a church school.
