The School Day

Timetable

School begins at 8:45 and finishes at 15:15pm. From 8:40 teachers will be in their classrooms to greet the children as they arrive. Mr Goffee will be at the school gates to welcome everyone! Children arriving by bus are dropped off at the front entrance. All class teachers collect their children from the playground at the beginning of each lesson period following break and lunchtimes.

08:40 – Teaching staff to be in their classrooms (automated bell)

Start of school –       8:45 – (automated bell)

Register –                8:55 (register sent to office)

Break –                   10:30 until 10:45

Lunchtime –             12 noon

Afternoon Register – 13:00

End of school –        15:15 all children must be supervised. The staff also supervise the children who travel home by bus, on a rota basis.

If your child suffers from diarrhoea or vomiting we ask you to keep them off school for 2 days once they are better to avoid passing it on to other children in their class. Click here for further advice from the NHS.
