Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Justice in our School
Green Lane is a school that wants everyone to feel a sense of belonging. This is about everyone feeling accepted and safe in school, no matter the country they originate from, any disabilities they may have, whatever religion they believe in, their cultural background, the list is endless. At Green Lane inclusion is one of our core values and that goes along with a belief in equity for all, a desire for us to live in a diverse society and that begins with what we do in school and of course a strong sense of fairness and justice. Over the past few years we have welcomed families from diverse backgrounds and countries and we have been proud to see our Green Lane family grow with acceptance and love.
Durham and Newcastle Diocesan Learning Trust (DNDLT)
In August 2023 the school was delighted to become part of the Durham and Newcastle Diocesan Learning Trust. As an academy school we can share expertise and ideas with others in the academy in order to further improve the education which we offer to our children.
