Friends of the School

The Friends of Green Lane School is a group of parents and teachers who meet once a month to plan and organise fundraising events and provide support for school events. The group is open to anyone who wants to work together to raise money for the school to make our children’s experience at Green Lane as rewarding and fulfilling as possible.

We hold numerous events throughout the year; fairs, discos, quizzes and sales to name a few! In order for these fundraisers to be successful we need a strong team to plan and execute each event and to help out on the frontline and behind the scenes, whether it be baking cakes for the cake stall or serving in the kitchen at the disco! The Friends have raised more than £10,000 over the past years making a huge difference to the school environment and beyond.

We are always on the lookout for new members and new ideas for fundraising. The Friends of Green Lane School would love to welcome some new faces to our group so if you think you could help out in any way, even if you can’t get to meetings, please get in touch! Email the school if you would like more information about Friends.

FOGLS have also recently set up a School Lottery with lots of exciting prizes. This is the link to join in. www.yourschoollottery.co.uk
