Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. Ofsted regulate and inspect schools and colleges to seek improvement in the service. They carry out large number of inspections and regulatory visits in England and publish their finding on their website. The school was last inspected in February 2023 when it received a judgement of ‘GOOD’:

Year 1 Phonics Screening Check

  • In 2022 67% of our children passed the phonics screening check.
  • In 2023 79% of our children passed the phonics screening check.

SIAMS

SIAMS is the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools. This inspection judges the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the school as a Church of England school and aims to help schools improve as church schools. In 2019 the school was inspected and received the top grading of ‘EXCELLENT’ this will be held by the school until the next inspection in 2024. The inspection looked at how well the school, through its distinctive Christian character, meets the needs of all learners, cares for its community, looks after its children, the impact of collective worship on the school community, the effectiveness of is the religious education and the effectiveness of the leadership and management of the school as a church school.
