By the end of Autumn Children in Happy Hollow will be:

  • Talking about number and patterns in the world around them
  • Exploring and talking about the Numicon resources
  • Beginning to understand the value of a number (That ‘3’ represents 3 physical objects)

By the end of Spring Children in Happy Hollow will be:

  • Counting, ordering and comparing numbers to 10 confidently
  • Using Numicon resources purposefully
  • Exploring with shape, measure and problem solving

By the end of EYFS Children in Happy Hollow will be:

  • Able to have a deep understanding of numbers 1-10
  • Confident when identifying patterns and problem solving
  • Able to apply mathematical knowledge and skills in all areas of learning
