Governor – Rev A Harding

Photo 40I am the Vicar of Barnard Castle and also the Area Dean of Barnard Castle having an overview of  church (and school)  life across Teesdale through work beyond the parish and in the wider Diocese of Durham.

Before moving to Barney in 2000 I was a Vicar in my home town of Hereford, involved there as Vice Chair of a large Junior school and Chair of a neighbouring (very large) Infant School.

I have been involved in the Governance of schools for over 20 years and been privileged to work alongside magnificent, professional, creative and dedicated staff in a variety of contexts. I am 53. I am married to Kim and we have four grown children (all of whom have attended Green Lane School).

Currently I am Chair of the Governing Body and I also serve on the Curriculum and Personnel Committees. I chair the Christian Ethos Committee and have a role in disciplinary and appeals committees.
