By the end of Autumn Children in Happy Hollow will be:
- Talking about number and patterns in the world around them
- Exploring and talking about the Numicon resources
- Beginning to understand the value of a number (That ‘3’ represents 3 physical objects)
By the end of Spring Children in Happy Hollow will be:
- Counting, ordering and comparing numbers to 10 confidently
- Using Numicon resources purposefully
- Exploring with shape, measure and problem solving
By the end of EYFS Children in Happy Hollow will be:
- Able to have a deep understanding of numbers 1-10
- Confident when identifying patterns and problem solving
- Able to apply mathematical knowledge and skills in all areas of learning
