Children in Need – Friday, 16th November

School Council organised lots of activities for Children in Need in November. The theme for Children in Need this year was ‘Bedtime Stories.’ We put posters all around the school to remind everyone that they could wear pyjamas to school and bring in a donation. As well as wearing bedtime clothes everyone brought in a story which they like to read. School Council collected cushions and blankets and arranged these in the hall to make a nice comfy area for everybody to share their stories and read together. It was great fun!

As well as this School Council organised a Pudsey Bear drawing competition. Everybody put in a great amount of effort and the winners were announced in Celebration Assembly the following week. It was a fantastic day and lots of money was raised for the charity which helps children all over the UK. Well done Team GL!
